Well shit, this looks really, really bad. They were doing CPR and it took almost 20 minutes for them to put him on a bed. Looked like he just fell over, there was nobody next to him.

I'm really, really hoping they can save him. What a terrible thing to happen during the tournament.

Edit: the Russian commentator just said that it appears they were able to restart his heart and only then decided to transport him off the pitch, but I'm not sure where he got that information. He's been evacuated in an ambulance.

Edit 2: someone just sent me a photo where he appers to be conscious as he's being wheeled off the pitch.

Edit 3: the stadium announcer said that Eriksen was sent to a hospital, and information would be forthcoming in about 20 minutes (19:45 local). The entire stadium is chanting "Eriksen!"

Edit 4: He's conscious and stable for now. Per UEFA official twitter, he's been 'stabilised'.

Edit: Following the request made by players of both teams, UEFA has agreed to restart the match between Denmark and Finland tonight at 20:30 CET (TBC).

The last four minutes of the first half will be played, there will then be a 5-minute half-time break followed by the second half.

The only silver lining is that it happened in a circumstance where he could receive immediate medical aid. Hoping for a full recovery.

Kjaer hugging Eriksen's wife and talking to her was the saddest shit I've ever seen. Thank god it seems like he made it.
