When I went in for a consultation about my sterilisation, the nurse doing a standard exam asked me 'so, your family is complete then?'
I answered 'yes'.
She asked how many children I had.
I answered 'none'.
She said, confused, 'but you said your family was complete ...?'
I said 'yes' again. Stared at her and let her silence be very uncomfortable for her.
