In the music industry, we saw massive piracy when convenience and reasonable pricing wasn't available. When services like iTunes and Spotify offered convenient, low cost music access, piracy plummeted. We then saw the same pattern in TV, with Netflix demonstrating that you can slash piracy by offering convenience and price. Now we see every content provider jumping into the subscription game and expecting to be able to charge you separately. You pay for CBS through your satellite and cable fees, but they want you to pay separately now for the same content.

I predict piracy will come roaring back due to the overall cost increase of subscribing to half a dozen different content providers.

I misread that as "exes" and thought they were mad cuz they changed the Netflix password.
