Or you could do a proportional representation system in which case, you would have 3 blue reps and 2 red reps. That way everyone has a voice and there is no tyranny of the majority.
There is a pretty fun mobile game called Gerrymander: Rig The Election that demonstrates this rather well too. It is also infuriating when you realize that it actually happens in real life which has prevented me from playing it ever again.
