See, Toyota is reliable as fuck! Always gonna be there.

Edit: They really just slapped a new badge on an old building and kept going amidst the flashiest architecture ever penciled. That’s the most Toyota thing I’ve ever seen.

Imagine being in a coma and waking up in cyberpunk dubai

I was born in Dubai in 83. I remember those towers. I was in them once.

Dubai in the early late 80s and early 90s was growing so fast and so much that I made jokes that they should have a giant 'under construction' over it so anyone driving in or flying over would know that.

If you grew up in Dubai during that time, by the time you were 14 or 15 years old in the late 90s you could start talking like an old man to your fellow teens and say 'remember when that was there? Yeah I remember. Man how things have changed. We used to see desert as far as the eye can see on the Dubai Sharjah road and that two story KFC was and Hardee's was like an oasis in the desert. Now it's all sandwiched between a million buildings and the desert is all gone.'

I do wonder if that KFC is still there. Better check Google street view.
