Back in 2014/5, My husband and I bought a TV from Costco and miscalculated the size, it ended being too big to fit in our car. We were trying to figure out a Plan B (XL Uber, rent a Uhaul pickup truck, etc) when the couple parked next to us (after watching us trying to shimmy this thing into our car for 5 mins) offered to haul it over to our place about 10 mins away. We were floored and offered to pay them for their trouble but they refused and happily drove it over to our apartment.
Honestly, one of the most random acts of kindness I’ve ever experienced.
