I feel your pain. Target did the same thing to me. I even received a notification it was reading to pick up. Checked the target app and it says “order canceled due to technical issue”
I had a ps5 preordered from best buy, I got the out for delivery message. I was off all day.i waited in my living room which is next to the front door all day. Nobody ever came to my door, and around 3pm in the afternoon I got an email saying the they attempted delivery an hour earlier and that nobody answered and they were returning it to the depot.
I called best buy, they said it was an error and that it would be out for delivery the next day. The next day I got a notice saying it was successfully delivered, to the loading dock of best buys warehouse. I called again to ask wtf and they actually tried to tell me my order was delivered. I had to explain to the customer service Rep that no, I don't live at the best buy warehouse. It got worse when I was able to get one on one of the drops a few weeks later and they cancelled my order saying that I had exceeded the one per household limit.

Wooow, that’s heartbreaking. Did you try asking customer service if they can automatically send you one from the next shipment?
