It's nice seeing a white hard hat with a Biden shirt under it. We have a major political self segregation problem, especially in our workplaces. I used to work in a big sawmill and it was always amazing how lonely you can be in a room with 44 other people. The common retort from people who disagree with me is that it's my fault; I should reach out and put myself out there more. As much as those indepth discussions about f**s and the HR director's ass were probably enthralling I'll fucking pass.
Calling anyone a dumb fuck at work is a good sign that the employee needs to be fired.
Also talking politics, or religion, is generally not a great idea at work. You risk offending someone, making someone uncomfortable, or give yourself a reason to resent your coworkers - lots of bad outcomes and for no real gain.
