This happened to me once at my old apartment. I had set my succulents and other plant babies out for some good sun. 20 minutes later I peek out the window and they are all gone. I was very upset because I loved them so much. Thankfully I had really unique planters so after 20 minutes of walking around the complex I found them on someone’s porch. I took them home and left a noted taped to their door.

People would walk right off the street and into our back yard to take our tomatoes off the vine. They'd bend over the chickenwire and completely destroy the fencing too. Our neighbor was in a wheelchair, saw it happening, and could only yell at them but the theives just completely ignored him and walked off with everything when they were done.

Like, christ, just knock and ask. We'd probably give some away. Some people are just huge pieces of living shit. I need to train the wasps to attack people or something.

It was my young daughter's onions.

Years ago, my neighbor had his house for sale. Our backyards were connected, but not fenced. I came home one day to see a car parked in front of his house (not unusual), and a guy walking the backyard of the house (also not unusual), but he was carrying a big paper bag - that was unusual.

He saw me, did a 180 and walked the other way around the other side of the neighbors house, got in the car and drove away - THAT was a bit unusual.

I checked my neighbors house to see if there were any broken windows, doors, because you hear stories... nothing.

Head back to my house, and then I see it... my grow box which had about a dozen growing onions my Daughter planted, is now just empty.... dude stole her onions. Pretty sure it was him. Onion stealing asshole...
