I’m gen z and when I kept having chronic stomachaches as a kid, my parents kept encouraging me to drink milk. Turns out I am lactose intolerant.

I remember when my mom brought me to the doctor (after we figured out I was lactose intolerant) and they suggested drinking the late 90s-early 00s version of lactate milk. It tasted like chalk.
