Damn! If only I'd known that by being born in a first world country I automatically wasn't allowed to be depressed! That would've saved me thousands of euros, time and effort in therapy and entire years of misery. If only I'd known!
That kind of post has exactly the same reasoning of those who say "you should be happy there is always someone who has it worse" Like "WOW I CAN'T HELP BEING DEPRESSED BUT NO I'LL FEEL GUILTY AS WELL GREAT JOB"
