Four hours into an 8 hour flight from Spain to NYC, a child suffered an asthma attack and his medicine was in a checked bag. Fortunately a pioneer of robotic surgery happened to be on board, and Dr. Khurshid Guru was able to MacGuyver a nebulizer.

Source.

By the time the plane landed, the kid's oxygen saturation had risen from 88% to 95%, and the child was playing with his mother.

Props to Dr. Guru.

First off props to this lad for being gangster af but who the fuck puts asthma meds in a checked bag while they sit in a pringles can of other people's breath?

Edit: apparently the parents checked the inhaler accidentally, airports are stressful these things happen and thankfully it turned out ok. They found someone with a spare inhaler but since the kid is 2 they were worried about dosage and/or ability to use a standard inhaler. Dr. Guru made a spacer and the article used the wrong term. (honestly so have I all my life, TIL thanks Reddit)
