Hey, governor Meemaw just signed medical marijuana into law.
Sure, you can’t smoke it, it’ll only be available from ten dispensaries statewide, the burden of proving medical necessity will be so onerous that many who could benefit won’t, the non refundable application fees to be a physician licensed to recommend it are astronomically high, and the entire thing looks ripe for abuse by the rich and well connected, but we weren’t dead last this time.
