That's good people. My experience with a family owned Italian restaurant, years ago as a bartender, was them taking a percentage of our tips. Was told that's how they operate. My 1st day was my last.
My boss is married to the chef at our little international restaurant. Boss charges me full price if im working a double and im hungry, but when she’s gone, her husband cooks me a schnitzel sandwich with fries on the house. Most of the employees who still work there only stay because they care about leaving him behind
