One of my best friends from college was a tall dude with long hair and a penchant for long leather coats. He loves kids and would always want to compliment them to their parents if he saw a cute kid in public but knew he wouldn’t be able to do that without stranger danger. If he were a woman, he’d totally go around telling parents how awesome/cute their kids are.

But hopefully he has the ability to instantly transfer back to "big scary dude" if someone takes the compliment as an "invitation" to get all handsy-grabby. Would also probably be a great video series.
I once told a stranger that she had amazing skin and she looked at me really weird like I was a creep and walked away, then came and found me a couple minutes later and thanked me profusely and said I made her day; that she just took a second to register that I wasn't hitting on her.
If I was a dude, I would have probably had the cops called on me.
