I hate myself for this one, but I'll share it anyway.
When my oldest had her 6th birthday, she got some money from her great-grandmother, so I brought her to Toys-R-Us to spend it. On the way, I got pulled over. Before the cop got to my window, I told her that we weren't going to the toy store anymore. She started crying... HARD. The cop gave me a warning.
Then, of course, I brought her to the toy store and gave her an extra $40 to spend.
She's 21 now and finds the story hilarious... but I still feel bad about it.
My mom go pulled over once when I was 10, and told me to keep quiet. I could see the officer's name tag and I recognized his name. I rolled my window down and asked "do you know officer Acato, she's my DARE teacher" He got quiet for a moment and said "yes, she's my wife."
They were newlyweds, and she had spoken about him in my class. My mom did not get a ticket that day.

Similar story when I was 4 but I actually had to poop. I shit myself. Dad got the ticket. I’m not as successful as my sister....
