Ending qualified immunity doesn't just help black people, it helps everyone by holding cops responsible. I don't quite understand the opposition to it.

Edit: Alright team, popped this comment off this morning and have been reading responses all day. I've learned a little, so I'll throw this out there.
Colorado, Connecticut, NYC, and New Mexico have established state and local laws that give citizens an additional course of action in an attempt to curtail police and public official abuses. Qualified immunity is a federal provision that of course can't be ended by states.
