Thinking about requesting an FOIA for all documentation of this incident with the district via MuckRock. We need context from the source - not a parent or school district spokesperson - what was the line of communication between the administration?

Edit: working on it right now; UTC 10:58; will update shortly.

Edit: 12:28 UTC; request sent; 29 minutes until it’s sent to agency. .

15:38 UTC; to file the request through MuckRock it incurred a fee of $80; as another commentor pointed out that this wasn’t necessary as it can be free (less printing costs and such).

final update: this link on MuckRock will show follow up from the listed agencies

My teacher accidentally screen shared doom eternal on nightmare difficulty once.

He was hailed as a hero.

Until he decided one of his students having a fallout new vegas poster with a revolver on it was grounds to talk to the principal about it.

I got in trouble in 2nd grade for bringing a marshmallow gun and a nerf gun to school over a long weekend to play with my friend. A teacher was preparing for something saw us on the playground and came over yelling. The next school day we got pulled into the hallway and were given letters for our parents.

The worst part is that during an assembly they had marshmallow guns as a prop in a game for students to play.
