The most ironic thing about this is the same people who think a 1.45% death rate is low, will panic because like 9 out of 16 million vaccinated people have died.
I’ve laid out the same “a small percent of a large number is still a large number” argument repeatedly for the last year. I’ve come to realize that the people that post these silly info graphics usually believe that the “survival rate” reflects how likely an individual (like themselves) is to die of COVID rather a function of CFR/IFR of SARS-CoV2.
I’m not sure how you ever get through to people when their baseline of scientific literacy is so poor.
