My former fat pants are now too small. Started a diet yesterday.

As someone that had an entire pregnancy during the pandemic and is still wearing maternity leggings 5 months out - I approve this message

I gained weight, too. I was feeling bad about it, but then I remembered the shit year we had last year and how most of us were just trying to survive. So, now I'm going easier on myself, swapped out fries for salads, cut back on some unhealthy stuff, and started walking a little more. Felt a LOT better since deciding not to beat myself up over a natural response to stress. I'm still heavier than I want to be, but I survived 2020. That counts for something, imo.
