Laraque is such a fucking legend. I remember back when I was like 10 or 11, email wasn’t that common yet but his personal email was floating around. So I emailed him from my family AOL account and told him he was the scariest dude in the league and please don’t beat me up but could you maybe send me an autograph so I can hang it up on my wall? Classy motherfucker send me a personalized autographed 8x10, a signed Oilers puck and a punch of other random Oilers stuff. Some people have no idea how much that means to a kid, but he knew. Will love that dude forever.
