When we were short staffed (at least 50% of the time) we were still expected to have everything cleaned up in the same amount of time. 2 cooks and a dishwasher washing dishes could barely clean that kitchen in an hour. If we had that 3rd set of hands cleaning it took 30 minutes. Wouldn't ever hear so much as a thank you for getting it done when we could but heard about it every single time we spent 15 extra minutes on the clock....working. They legit thought we were just "deciding" how long to take cleaning a kitchen...

Quit a part time job that I liked years ago because they were constantly short staffed and asking me to work too many hours. On my last day they thought they were sneaky when they continued to schedule me to work for weeks out - and full time! I said no as I left at the end of my day, with no one to work the next day - and I had even given notice. Soo many times it's an employer problem.
