I tried to make grids in my year book so people could write and sign in neat order. The first girl to sign it said “that’s stupid” and signed on a page that had a candid photo of herself on it. In fact no one used the grid.. I never figured out why they wouldn’t.
So I’m sure he was thinking “if I sign the cover it’s more likely to get damaged than the first page”, but - I laughed so hard at this for some reason.
Picturing you being so excited, opening it, and then staring at that page thinking...what the f*ck? He had to see it right?
How many times in your life did this occasionally cross your mind and a fresh feeling of “what the hell RL Stine?” washed over you?

I hope it's because you spelled "sign" incorrectly and he was just like "Hehehehehe, take this you little bastard."
