One time my dad came to swap out the money and he woke me up because he had turned on my bedroom light. Seeing I’m awake, he says to me in a high voice, “I’m the tooth fairy.” I handed him my tooth, he handed me the money.
As he was leaving he said, “don’t tell your mother.” I never did, and I don’t think he did either, because I kept getting money.

I told my kid he has to tell me he lost a tooth so I can text the tooth fairy and let her know.

I did the same. I didn't tell them I knew though, kept it to myself. Knowledge is power.
