Poor blob fish, we pull them out of their high-pressure environment, their gelatinous flesh explodes, and we give them a snarky name like "blob fish". That would be like aliens taking humans to Jupiter and calling them "crushy legs", or to Venus and calling them "melty face".

Bringing a blob fish to the surface is the exact opposite as bringing a human to 2000m deep without an equipment. Our atmosphere literally makes them explode from the inside due to lack of external pressure
