People looking at other runners - they look so relaxed and peaceful. People seeing me run- surely she's being chased by bees. This is an unnatural state for her.
My first half marathon was the staten island half run. I remember at the end I wanted to cry because I worked so hard leading up to this run, but had very poor sleep the night before. I barely finished in time but I'm glad I got my damn participation medal!

I did a half marathon once. ONCE. Got to the end and realized that some people do the equivalent of turning around and repeating. Nope. Not for me.
