A similar thing happened to me in the pre-natal unit. I was the first male admitted to pre-natal (for revovery) on record.

I was "forced" to sit down. They quite bluntly told me I was not a priority and they didn't have the space or time to deal with a fainting Dad-in-progress. It was a good call.
