Same. And to the people saying "well then people will leave their trade to go flip burgers!" So? Know what happens then? Then the demand for powerline assembly workers goes up and so does their pay.
I posted this elsewhere, but my boss kept telling me that McDonald's and Taco Bell make $10 an hour right now and that that should make me angry that "those people" make as much as me. (which I don't make enough either but I digress). I told her I used to work at McDonald's and was treated like absolute crap all the time, society treats you as a lower class citizen and I have no issues with them making better than minimum wage.
Long story short, she now judges me for having ever worked at McDonald's and says I should've put that on my resume despite being 10 years and 4 jobs ago.
