In my country vaccination was going great till we reached under 60 years old (here we are vaccinating by age groups started from old to young). Almost 7 million vaccines with more than half with both dosis (including first line workers, teachers, delivery and people with pre existing conditions). Now out of the 50 to 59 group of healthy people only 30% of the people got the first dosis. You know what group of people are dying at the hospitals? between 40 and 60 years old.
I can't even tell you how many times I heard "they're just gonna die anyway" from my own friends and coworkers regarding those at risk over the past year. I will never understand how people believe others lives have such little value.
