My aunt got her nephew a "typicall girl toy" . My uncle got mad because she "tried to make his son gay" Edit: I can't remember what the toy was, something for cooking or so. BUT my point was that you can't make a boy gay by getting him "girls toys".
This kind of thing is so foreign to me. When I was little (in the 80's), I had G.I. Joe toys, and He-Man toys, and they loved to play with my My Little Ponies. Did you know that My Little Ponies make fantastic battle chargers??
