For a couple years before covid, I was in a group that met twice a week to do an outdoor sport. It was awesome, I had a bunch of friends there, and every time I went I met new people.
I took the whole covid year off, but started going again last month... I feel like I have no social skills now. I feel like people act like I'm super awkward and don't really want to talk. I'm going to keep going, but it is crazy what a year with no people did to me.
