My workplace had fliers around about "Employee Appreciation Day" a few months ago.
They sent a memo that we would get a gift when we clocked out that day.
Three days later we get a small bag of pretzels or pistachios. It's better than nothing, but FFS a $1-2 bag is not going to raise my moral in any way shape or form.

This is just healthcare. We are all heroes working through the pandemic though but yet we get a 10 cent raise this year.
