I remember thinking when the original toy story came out how good the animation is. It’s pretty incredible seeing them side by side.

Pixar animation in 1995: "Very good for the time, but looks stiff and too smooth."
Pixar animation in 2019: "You didn't ask to see every single individual hair on an animated cat, but Pixar did it anyway and it looks fantastic."
