I worked in retail while going through school. Our store was going through a rough time and made us sign notices that we were at will employees and they didn't have to give us any notice to can us. Eventually I got offered a job in my field of study but they needed me to start right away. It was my day off, so I went in to the store to tell my manager I was leaving. He asked me, when's your last day. And I was like, yesterday. -1 day notice. I felt kind of bad, but had to do what was best for me at the time.

You know what’s awesome? Giving two weeks notice and them paying you to leave because you know too much. So you get two weeks paid vacation 👍🏽

I always set my start date for new job for 3 weeks, then give 2 weeks notice so I can have a week to reset. That’s a magical week, let me tell you.
