I lived in 'murica for a year. In extreme naivety and slight western arrogance, I just assumed that there would be zero differences between the UK and USA.
Drove from JFK/New York to Connecticut and when I reached my first right turn red light I was so confused at the angry people beeping at me haha.

Almost got killed a few times in Chicago because of this. Nightmare if you're a pedestrian.
Pedestrian crossings that don't allow pedestrians to cross, they just reduce your chance of meeting a car by 50%.

Turning right at red light in the UK, would be new level of dangerous.
