So about 6 years ago I lost my wedding ring. I ended up getting a tattoo rather than replace it. We have moved twice since then and live in a different state. My wife just found it in old purse.

My wife's keys were missing for a year, for almost the same reason. Except it was her current purse they were lost in.

I lost mine after I took it off for a shower and set it on the kitchen counter, and then when we were moving I pulled the stove away from the wall and guess what was under it? The cat batted it off the counter (its somewhat shiny) and it slid under the stove was our best guess. That was 2-3 years later. Sorry didn’t mean to hijack just had a relatable experience.
