What a legend. He knows how much it means to stand with your portrait.

Words don't do the guy justice.

Great portrait by the way.

/u/GovSchwarzenegger signed this. OP posted that to Instagram (pavelsokov). Per there:

@schwarzenegger with his painting that I made for him! Thank you for the awesome photo! My dad and I used to watch Arnold movies together when I was a little kid in Russia. It had questionable Russian dubbing but we had a great time 😂. He was my favorite actor. Later in my life he became an inspiration (people that knew me back then, do you remember this?) for following and accomplishing multiple dreams that many around him deemed unlikely. A long time ago, before I became a professional artist, I was my own nay-sayer, thinking that it’s unrealistic to become a successful painter because almost no one does. I was listening to an epic speech of Arnold’s back when I was still working in business and was struck by his complete disinterest in the high likelihood of failure of his goals, massive as they were. He said to fear nothing, to believe in yourself and in your vision, and go out there and get it done regardless. Message was received. Thank you. I quit my business job at the time and moved to California to pursue my goals. Real life only started when I went to pursue exactly what I want, in many ways. I barely even remember life prior, because it was the life of a different person. The mission was accomplished almost immediately, so nowadays I just keep moving the goal post higher and higher. The idea of being afraid to follow your seemingly unlikely dreams seems laughable and I understand completely that the only thing to fear is fear itself. Every mountain will be climbed in due time, you just gotta make sure to not run out of mountains to climb

I’m proud to own it, and I hope your story inspires more redditors to follow their vision. Thank you again!
