It's sad really. (Thai) massage parlors here in Berlin have hand-written signs in their windows that specify "no erotic massages". My first reaction was: "yeah sure, like that needs to be said". Apparently, it does. The default assumption among their male customers is that a happy ending is part of the program if you ask for it.

It's something that applies not only to the US. And it's not something that exclusively happens to Asian masseuses. It still sucks and it shouldn't be like that.

Edit: many of you comment that this happens because lots of parlors offer happy endings as a default. I know. There's a demand for it because it is being supplied. And it is being supplied because there is demand for it. It's a circle, that's the (ugly) reality of it. So what's your point? That doesn't make the whole thing right/okay. At least in my book.

There's nothing wrong with fetishes. It's when you forget there's a person connected to that fetish.

Fun fact: where I live in Canada, strip clubs are illegal, but happy ending massage parlours are "regulated".
