Honestly all I need to consider someone a good actor is for me to believe them. They might constantly get type cast into one type of role but if I believe them while I see them play that same type of character for the 5th time (looking at you, Michael Cera) then I’m going to think they’re a good actor.
I’m not a huge films and tv guy. I watch some but I don’t analyse it or anything. If it’s enjoyable and the cast are believable I’m good.

Easily one of the best performances is James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano. Constantly using small details to show all ranges of emotions
