If you understand a very bit of science such as particles spraying out your orifices during a respiratory pandemic and medical staff working double shifts 7 days a week for over a year to see people die in spite of their help, body bags tossed into refrigerator trucks, and nearly 7 trillion dollars spent on mitigating the damage of said contagious disease, then you'd understand why the law is to wear a mask and social distance. Otherwise, it's a potential assault on those around you. It's even more important than the other crime which is god-awful, because millions are dying globally. I find the meme very relevant.
