In the same vein, most people think that retail and food industry are the only low level jobs. There's a shit ton that I can think of that most people have never heard of or assume required a degree.
I’ve been at my government job for a few years now and there are so many jobs I still have not heard of. We’ve got the classic data science, data engineer, cloud architects etc etc but that’s not even the half of it. There’s a whole field of people at my agency with scientific PhDs who become “program managers”. What program they’re managing, I do not know.
