You must also speak to a counselor (who is required to read a state mandated script) about what a serious decision owning a firearm is, get an ultrasound to make sure you don't currently have a bullet inside you. Then after that you just have to come back 72 hours later, and the gun is all yours.
I'm sure Republicans would be onboard for this, I've heard them say plenty of times that measures like these in no way obstruct something you have a constitutional right to access.
