Here's a story for ya. I was injured at work in July, something got hurt in my back while lifting. Due to Covid, and a "computer glitch" I didn't get to see a doctor for several weeks. I couldn't work, too much pain, so I was unemployed for a while. Lost my work insurance, and now workmans comp dropped me without proper treatment, and forced me back to work with an untreated injury.

So, now I am working only 3 hours a day, a few days a week. That doesn't cover rent, food, etc.

My savings and such will be gone soon, then I am not sure what I am going to do.

Edit: I initially saw my chiropractor when I got hurt. He determined I needed other help, and referred me to another doctor, this is what took weeks to go through.

No, you got that wrong.

Health insurance through employment is another carefully implemented lever securing employees compliance. Keep your head low, keep your mouth shut, or else...

It's privatized punishment for defiant wage slaves. Not surprising in a country that loathes nothing more than workers rights.

Tying health care to employment instead of tying it to being a citizen was one of the hugest mistakes we ever made.
