Joe Biden knows very well that he is able to cancel student loan debt by executive order, without congressional approval. Every day he doesn't, he's personally, consciously inflicting untold suffering on the American people. People are losing their lives over this stuff. It's not a fucking joke, and him treating it like some political game is disgusting.
I agree that student debt should be erased. I just wish it was done when I needed it. Would have allowed me to focus on working on my portfolio instead of burying myself in work to afford my bills...
I cannot STAND when people try to use this as an argument, and the people I see who normally make it are usually baby boomers. Like sure, forget progress, lets screw over younger generations just because we didn’t get what we can give them now.
