It's not being an elitist. Since the pandemic started my productivity at work icreased simply because my gaming rig is not a Dell pre-built that takes 5 minutes to do some simple image editing. "Oh, you want to erase a license plate? Let me just freeze everything for 3 hours and basically ruin your morning then!" (Maybe slight exageration).
Ugh, my company laptop takes literally 5 minutes from power button to usable thanks to all the shit they install on it.
My desktop is 0-ready to roll in maybe 30 seconds.
Edit: since so many people are asking or suggesting I put an SSD in it. The company laptop actually has an SSD. In fact it’s relatively new. They get us refreshes every 3 years. It’s just that it gets weighed down with more software to prevent corporate espionage than the anchor on a battleship. Literally everything you do on it is monitored. I have to go through a support form every year just to keep the USB ports active otherwise they remotely disable them. And with my job I literally NEED the ports active because that’s how I renew my service keys.
My home computer specs: i7 8700k 32GB DDR4 3600 GTX1080 (waiting for stock on the new ones) .5TB Samsung 970 evo nvme
And 30 seconds for my home computer is if I fat finger my login and scratch my ass for 15 seconds. Shits fast yo.

My $40 Walmart chair and ramen diet go perfectly with my $3500 PC.
