My dad got arrested because his wife he’s divorcing called the police and falsely accused him of beating her. I was a witness the whole time along with her daughter and instead of just doing a little investigation or just looking at her physically or even her criminal record so much stress could have been avoided. My dad now awaits trial in Texas for domestic abuse and he’s never been a violent person or has any kind of record. This has lead me to dislike police to the maximum level
Broke up with a girl after two years in a terrible (and often perversely wonderful) drug-fueled love-hate relationship.
She realized I was really leaving, grabbed a knife from the kitchen and tried to stab me. Like, full on haymaker swings with a butcher knife and hate in her eyes.
But she was 5'5" and I'm 6'7" and I was able to keep her from seriously hurting me - so she started to cut on herself instead...
Said she would tell the cops that I tried to kill her if I didn't change my mind about leaving.
I literally ran out of the house - leaving my clothes, furniture, car, everything - and took a bus across the country to start over.
Fuck that shit. No way the cops would even try to hear my side of that insanity - sounds like bullshit to me even now all these years later.
Few years later she found me on MySpace and hit me up like we were old friends - I deleted the account.
