My dad got arrested because his wife he’s divorcing called the police and falsely accused him of beating her. I was a witness the whole time along with her daughter and instead of just doing a little investigation or just looking at her physically or even her criminal record so much stress could have been avoided. My dad now awaits trial in Texas for domestic abuse and he’s never been a violent person or has any kind of record. This has lead me to dislike police to the maximum level
Yup. My dad was the one sent to jail for protecting me from my ex step mother as she was actively hitting me. Tore an earring out of my ear, had me by the hair, on the ground, everything. BUT because SHE was the one with bruises (from my dad grabbing her off of me) HE was the one that went to jail that night.
