One terrible thing leads to another, and next you know, you're below the poverty line. All because some politicians don't give a crap about the people.
I make relatively good money and if I were to get pregnant, I could not afford to raise a child on my own. I would get no assistance whatsoever besides a tax deduction. I would not be able to afford child care. If the state forced me to have a child, I would have to quit my job completely and live off the government. This is what they are forcing people to do by these asinine laws. Luckily I live in a state where I have the option to choose if and when I want to become a parent. Some women don't have the ability to do that and I am so thankful to be in a state that recognizes womens rights that if SCOTUS does decide to make abortion unconstitutional, I won't have to worry, but I am scared for all the other women who won't get that option to choose.
