That happened to a friend of mine years ago. He was associated with someone who shot another person and they couldn't find the gun. They thought for some reason my buddy had it hid in his house so they tore the shit out of his house trying to find it.
If only there was something in the Constitution, maybein an amendment, about the government having to pay for any property they take from you. It seems like a basic right, that could be included in a bill of rights...
This happened to my friend in Arizona not long ago. Tear gas residue destroyed all belongings and had to move. Still trying to clean up months later. 0 compensation or help of any kind. It’s a rental and even the rental company won’t help in any way.
