I can understand there's good reasons why it's being done but I'm still really gonna miss the classic iconography of the old textures.

The old look has been in the game for a long time and it's understandable that people are upset about the change.

EDIT: Yes I know I can just make a resource back or use programmer textures, I don't need to be told that, I'm not stupid.

Since it keeps coming up: I'm severely red-green colorblind (street-light green is virtually white to me). So, yes, I realize colorblind people see color and monochromatic colorblindness is rare; however, a monochromatic example is easy to visually conceptualize for both normally sighted and the majority of colorblind people.
